Policies
A $30 fee is assessed on all returned checks.

Refunds: 100% before registration deadline, 75% after
the first week 50% after the second week of classes. No
refund after third class.

Only registered skaters allowed on the ice.

Helmets required for skaters 5 and under. Helmets strongly recommeded for all skaters.

Class Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel an individual class because of a rink conflict. In such a case, a make-up class will be scheduled.

Storm Cancellations:
Class is cancelled only when the rink is closed. Cancellation information is posted on our website home page and may also be accessed by calling our office phone.


Confirmations: No confirmation calls will be made or letters sent. For on-line registrations your credit card confirmation is a class confirmation.

Make-ups—There are no make-ups

Class Size: In order to hold a class, there must be a minimum of 3 skaters. If this minimum is not met, we have the right to combine levels or cancel the class

Learn to Skate Cincinnati is not responsible for any changes in time, location or cancellation of classes beyond our control.

Learn to Skate Cincinnati, its directors, officers, instructors, assistants and other staff will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained by students in its program of lessons.


What to wear
Wear only 1 pair of light or medium socks.
Wear warm and comfortable clothes.
Hat, gloves or mittens recommended.

Information on skates
Rental Skates available
Figure/Brown skates begin in toddlers size 6
Hockey skates start at size 1
If you own your own skatesUse sharpened figure or hockey skates.
No double runners.
Skates that are too big hinder progress.
Use sturdy skates for support.
Pull laces tight at the ankles.
Ankles should be up straight not tipping in or out.
Do not walk on cement without skate guards
